What is Big Retreat Festival?
The Lawrenny Estuary in Pembrokeshire in Wales is possibly the most perfect place to reflect and relax, in front of the ever-changing and wildly beautiful landscape of the Cleddau River, and The Big Retreat is a festival with well-being and self-care at its heart. It can be described as a “festival of the body and mind”, you’re likely to leave feeling better than when you arrived, with plenty of activities and experiences designed to nurture your soul, heal your heart and open your mind.
You can access over 300 carefully curated experiences: fitness, yoga, talks, workshops, foraging, feasting, arts, bushcraft, live music and more, while indulging in wild swimming in the invigorating fresh air; Leave the world behind on the stunning, unspoiled western edge of Wales.
Japanese shaman, healer and founder of Leaves Institute, Yumiko will be appearing at The Big Retreat Festival in Pembrokeshire from 1-4 June.
It is a rare opportunity for people in the UK to meet Yumiko in person and experience her unique healing approach. Yumiko will be hosting a free talk on Empowering Your Healing Capacity (9:00 am on Friday 2nd June in Ganesh Tent).
She schedules a paid-for workshop on Heal to be Real Amazing You (16:00 pm on Thursday 1st June or 10:30 am on Friday 2nd June in Lotus Star Gate) and another workshop on Communication for Gifted and Highly-Sensitive People (13:30 pm on Friday 2nd June or 10:30 am on Saturday 3rd June in Lotus Star Gate).
She also schedules private sessions. This customised healing, alchemy and channelling advice session facilitate personal needs and issues. Adults can also accompany children for healing.

Workshop
Communication for Gifted and Highly-Sensitive People
Our verbal communication accounts for only 7% of the entire communication. In this workshop you will be aware of energetic and empathic communication with others, and learn to use it more effectively as a communication tool. As a result, you will learn to understand and communicate with others better.
This workshop is for anyone who is interested in learning how to communicate more effectively, and for empaths and highly-sensitive people. You will gain greater insights into your own as well as other people’s thoughts, experiences and feelings. It is ideal for gifted and sensitive people who seek to understand themselves and develop more effective social communication skills for their partners, parents and friends.
This workshop also includes receiving healing for self-acceptance as well as the hurts around misunderstandings so the participants can develop creative more positive attitudes for their communication.
